About

Twenty Model Management was founded in Cape Town in 2005 by former model and entrepreneur Robin Fryer. Robin began his career in 1993 in the U.K. In his nearly two-decade long career Robin has appeared in over 100 television commercials and has been featured in countless local and international advertising campaigns. He has been represented by some of the most prestigious agencies in the world including Ford in New York, Marilyn Gaultier in Paris, and Why Not in Milan.

He received his first major South African exposure on the cover of the launch edition of Elle Man South Africa and internationally has been featured in the pages of Italian Mens (L'uomo) Vogue, British Esquire, American GQ, Marie Claire, and Cosmopolitan. He also shot the Christian Dior Dune Parfum campaign together with DKNY supermodel Berry Smither. His early successes led to high profile shoots with world renowned photographers Bruce Weber, Gary Gross, Bruno Juminer, Peggy Sirota, Mike Penn and Friedman Haus. Robin was also a highly sought after runway model – sharing the catwalk with Naomi Campbell, Markus Shenkenberg and Mark Vanderloo in major shows in Milan and Paris for Versace, Missoni, Fendi and Claude Montana to name a few.

In 2005 Robin decided to put his extensive experience to good use by starting his own agency in the city in which he was born. Twenty Model Management was inspired by the need to offer a more transparent and "open-door" policy to his contemporaries.

The agency now represents more than 250 male and female Models who have appeared in campaigns for Fendi, Gucci, DKNY, GAP-U.S.A, Coca Cola, BMW, Dirk Bikkembergs, Levi's and Nivea to name a few. The agency offers both local and international representation and is dedicated to helping all of the models it represents build viable and sustainable careers.
